DelayPilot has no affiliate partners. No link on this site earns DelayPilot a commission, a referral fee, a bounty, or any other payment. There is no partner registry, no tracking redirect, and no partner module in the product. Nothing on this page is a promise about revenue we already take — it is the set of rules we are publishing before there is any money involved, so that the rules cannot be written to fit the first payment.
The categories, and why every one is switched off
DelayPilot reserves ten commercial categories. A category is not a partner: it is a slot that stays empty until a real, signed agreement with a named merchant exists and the link resolves to a real destination. All ten are disabled, which means no link is rendered, no redirect resolves, and no identifier is configured.

Travel credit cards carry one extra condition beyond an agreement: they are never enabled without a completed compliance review, because consumer-credit promotion is regulated advertising in most of the places DelayPilot is read.
The disclosure you will see, before you click
If a partner link ever appears, the disclosure appears with it — above the links, as visible text, readable without hovering, expanding, or scrolling past the link it describes. It is never a tooltip, never inside a collapsed section, and never below the fold. Beside a single standalone link the text is:

Both sentences say the same thing twice on purpose. The first half tells you that money may change hands. The second half is the commitment that matters more: a commission never changes what DelayPilot tells you about your flight, your connection, or the rules that may apply to your disruption.
How partner links are marked
- Every partner link carries
rel="sponsored nofollow", which tells search engines the link is commercial and must not pass ranking credit. - The merchant is named in the link, and its destination host is visible before you click. DelayPilot does not cloak, mask, or disguise where a link goes.
- A partner is never described as official, approved, endorsed, or appointed — by DelayPilot, by an airline, or by a regulator. A merchant is a merchant.
- Partner links resolve through a redirect that reads only from the partner registry and validates the destination against an allowlist. A destination that is not in the registry does not redirect. No itinerary detail — no flight number, no route, no date, no traveler name, and never a booking reference — is attached to a partner address or a click record.
- Today no such redirect is implemented. The path prefix is reserved in the edge server's configuration and nothing answers on it.
Where a partner link may never appear
The ordering rule is absolute, and it applies on a phone exactly as it does on a desktop. Useful information and official passenger-rights guidance always come before any commercial suggestion. A commercial partner is never presented as the way to obtain a statutory right. If a rule may entitle you to a refund, rebooking, or care from the airline, the route to it is the airline and the regulator, both named with their official source — not a checkout.
Specifically, a partner link is never placed:
- inside a passenger-rights card, or next to one;
- inside an action checklist, or next to one;
- beside a "Contact airline", "Request refund", or "Save evidence" control, where a mis-click costs a traveler time they do not have;
- between a warning about a disruption and the action that answers it;
- as a travel-insurance offer in a view where a disruption is already under way — insurance bought after a delay starts does not cover that delay, and offering it there would be selling a traveler something that cannot help them;
- as a credit-card promotion inside a crisis action card.
How partners would be ordered
Partners are ordered by usefulness to the traveler in the situation on screen — proximity, coverage, and whether the option can actually be acted on in the time available. DelayPilot does not rank purely by commission. If commercial terms ever influence an order, that fact is disclosed in the module itself, in the same visible text as the disclosure above. Silent pay-for-position is not a thing this product does.
What DelayPilot earns today
Nothing. No advertising runs on this site, no affiliate link exists, no placement has been sold, and no article, guide, or rights explanation has been paid for, sponsored, or reviewed by a commercial partner. When that changes, it changes here first: this page is rewritten in the same change that enables a partner, naming the category and the merchant, and the change is recorded with the date it took effect.
